Soothie Love

My new friend from today.

I just love to see the green Soothie pacifiers. They remind me of having my first baby and how much he loved them. It is funny to me how they cover up so much of the face of a newborn. It makes them look even smaller. We were given ours at the hospital way back when. I can remember looking for them on Ebay fearing we might lose ours. They were quite expensive at the time. I'm happy you can buy them in stores now. My baby girl was given a stylish pink one, however, she had no interest. She loves her thumb too much.

Kindermart is coming!

My middle son's picture has been on the home page of Kindermartsale.com for a few years now. The funny thing about that picture (to me) is the bruise on his forehead. I'm glad I left it there and didn't try to edit it out. He was at that age where he was beginning to toddle around and having lots of falls. It may soon be time to update that picture with our newest little big eyes... She has already had two big cuts on her head in the last month from her new adventures in cruising.

Kindermart is our local children's consignment sale. It starts this weekend so don't miss it! You wouldn't believe how much stuff we are starting off with in the Fellowship Hall of the church. It opens to the public Friday morning at 9:30 AM.

Me & Us

We needed a family picture for my son's school supply list. Easier said than done. I am always behind the camera so I soon realized that we didn't actually have a family picture. I got my Aunt to snap one with my small Sony digital camera. It was and is pretty bad. I edited it some and sent it in. It is REAL LIFE for sure with my college t-shirt and stickers all over my husband.

And...this is us in 1975:
