Beautiful Baby

The light wasn't that great on this day and it was a bit chilly outside for this sweet girl. However, if you put a beautiful girl in a white dress how could you go wrong?

Her Mom said her hair was on the wild side this day. The bow was never quite right. I thought it was beautiful. I like the way you can see a piece of it curling out in a lot of her pictures. I can almost imagine her as a 2 year old with a head full of curls.

It always helps to stop for a little snack (or a big one).

What better backdrop than Dad himself.

If you give a baby a flower...

...it will surely break.

I know I sure laughed and smiled getting to play with this little girl. I love the last picture of her Mom and Dad laughing. They adore her and have many years of laughter ahead of them.

One Year Old - Sneak Peek

This little guy had the finger point going on. He knows he is "one"!

Peace, Dude.

This little boy was a total sweetie and just too cute. I love the pictures with his parents because you can see how much joy he brings them. I know they get a good laugh from him every day.

See that gun he is pointing? Total boy.

Thanks, Mom & Dad, for letting me spend some time with you and your little man. It has been difficult to narrow your pictures down because he is so cute in all of them!

Smyrna Little League's Opening Day

We started off our day with Smyrna Little League's early morning parade through the town square and opening ceremonies. Compared to last year, the weather was really great. By the time we played our games at 1:30 PM it is was down right HOT. It was drizzling in the morning and I didn't even think about sunscreen until I realized my kids were getting burned. I'll do better for the next games. I forgot I am in Atlanta where we don't have seasons. It was snowing last weekend and my car said it was 80 today.

Thanks to McEntyre's Bakery for giving all the kids in uniform a free cupcake!

Snow Day in Smyrna

We got a surprise yesterday with huge snowflakes that fell for most of the afternoon.

My Bradford Pear blooms were a lot more icy than they probably wanted to be.

My yard usually has daffodils starting to bloom this time of year. You can see this one was pounded down by the snow. It will be interesting to see what the flowers look like in the Jonquil City this Spring.

The Magnolia leaves were heavy with snow.

And lastly these are two of my little ones complete with hot chocolate around their mouths. They had a really good time until they got so cold they had to come inside.
