What will your costume be?

If you are like us, you have attended more than one Fall Festival this year. My boys are unlike most children because they have always refused to have their faces painted. Never ever has it happened. This year was different when my youngest boy first decided to have his hair painted green at the first festival we went to. Last weekend he had this put on his face courtesy of the King Springs Baptist Church's festival. It is great for him to branch out although a lot more clean up for Mom. Somehow most of this paint ended up on mine and my husband's jeans. And I still have green paint in his comb.

We are not members of King Springs Baptist, but we take part in a lot of their activities. They have a great group of people over there and their AWANA program is wonderful!

Happy Halloween

First Baby

She isn't just the first baby of her family, but the very first baby of all of my college friends. I can't believe how grown up she is! She is as sweet as she is pretty.

I'm feeling very old...

Little Brothers

Everyone should have a little brother to cause some trouble every once in awhile! This is little brother's out-take. I shouldn't post it, but it makes me smile. Every boy this age is entitled to lie down in his photo shoot. He is like my own little boy wanting to lie across his brother. Look at his big brothers looking at him. Don't they seem amused?
This little brother was actually very well behaved and no trouble at all. I could have taken him home with me.

Big Brother was so kind and patient with both of his brothers. I had a little brother 7 years younger than me so I admire him for that! The MIDDLE brother! :-) He was a sweetie. I wonder if he has ever taken a black sharpie to a white bathroom like our Middle brother just did? I doubt it...

Three for the road

I've been updating and backing up my computer and drives. It is taking FOREVER. I haven't been able to edit any pictures for the last two days and it has been frustrating (although I got a few other things done instead). I did manage to get this picture up tonight and will hopefully post a couple more this week.

These boys are so sweet. I can imagine what good friends they will be throughout their lives.

Good night!

Fall is here!

This little girlie found her first red leaf.

I am still not used to the cool mornings we have been having in Atlanta. I'm glad we still have the warm afternoons. I'm not sure what my boys will do when they have to stop wearing their shorts!

The trees are turning colors and will only get better. The Pumpkin Patch at SFUMC is out so it must be Fall. I know it has officially been Fall for awhile and now it finally feels like it.

Three's a Charm

This was my third third baby session this month. Did you follow that? This little guy is baby number three for his family. I love Mommys of three - they are very laid back with their new babies. :-)

Just like the other two third babies, this one loved his pacifier. Look at that little hand holding it in his mouth. I took some pictures of him with it because I hated for him to lose it when it made him so happy.

And so you can see his sweet face:

I met this little guy at my church to do a mini-session while he is still little and will meet back up with him next month after his baptism. It was a dark and gloomy day and little light was to be found. Normally I would have rescheduled, but this baby wasn't getting any younger so we went ahead right in the church hallway in the brightest spot I could find. My camera would have loved some more light, but that is okay. We captured how cute and sweet this little one is and that is the important thing. He will never be this small again!

We took his pictures in the same place my photographer had me stand on my wedding day. I got married in the late afternoon so it must have been the best place she could find light inside the church as well.

A blast from the past (in the spot)...

I'm thinking of cutting my hair so I can have bangs again. That way I can wear my glasses and be Sarah Palin for Halloween. What do you think?

Big Sisters

These are the sweetest and nicest girls you could ever meet. Their new baby brother was supposed to be the star of the show, but I think they got equal time. They were so much fun!

Look what I got to play with when little brother took a break. I don't have this fun girly stuff at my house (yet).

What lucky parents to have these three! They are the opposite of us with two girls and now a boy. They will have fun learning all the special things that go along with having little boys.

And now a little FISH fun:
Although this is probably not a "framer" for Mom, it might just be my favorite picture. When little brother got fussy, this little one didn't say a word. I think the look she is giving her sister says it all, though. It makes me smile every time I look at it.

Tutu fun! A born dancer, I think.
