Photography at Home

I can't believe January is over. I never even put what my New Year's resolutions are on my blog. That is probably because I never really make any. This year I do hope that I take better photos of my own kids (and go to bed earlier). The Christmas season was so busy taking pictures of others that I didn't take as many of my own children as I normally do. People usually assume that I take pictures of them all the time and at times I do. I have an even bigger problem downloading them off of my camera!

All of my photographer friends that I have talked to have the same resolution to take more pics of their families so this is nothing knew. It probably holds true for every family. These kids are growing up so fast and I don't want to forget so many precious things.

I don't want to forget how much I love these little feet. She has a boo boo on her toe from dropping a book on it.

This picture won't let me forget her favorite Cookie Monster book that I read 15 times a day to her or how she pulls books from these shelves all over the floor every single day (as I noted in the post below this one).

January was a big month for a little boy in our house turning 5. He is so proud of being so "big". All the talk these days is where will he go to Kindergarten next year? We need to make sure he gets into a good barber school so next time he cuts his own hair he does a better job of it.

There won't always be Star Wars Legos all over my house.

This guy would be glad to have Mom not take so many pictures! That's okay. I even want to remember the pouting!
