Seven

Seven years ago today I became a Mommy. What a ride! I'm so glad I have been able to experience Trains, Star Wars, Baseball, Video Games, and Camp-Outs (among other things) through another set of eyes.

Happy Birthday, Buddy-Boy!

Wall Gallery

This weekend I took down a big painting to put up a collection of photos. I love it. If you want to do the same and aren't sure what to do or how to do it, I have lots of samples like this one that can help. I can show you something conservative and more symmetrical for your space or help you consider something more daring.

I don't miss the big painting of a flower on my wall at all! It makes me feel happier to look at fun pictures of my family.

Un-sneak peek

This is my sneak peek for my very patient clients. :-) I'm working and hope to have your galleries ready tonight. I call it an un-sneak because these pictures are actually a few that did not make the cut.

A sweet couple - lots of laughter.

It can be work to get little boys to sit still for a picture (or anything for that matter). He is too cute and sweet for it to matter to me how wiggly he is. It doesn't hurt that I have a couple even more wiggly at home!

See what I mean - look at that face!

Covered in Grandchildren

Covered in Grandchildren - it is certainly what I hope for one day.

If you don't have grandparents, these are the ones you want. Young, fun and they give you your very own office in their house. Look at the little guy looking at his grandfather. Doesn't that just say it all?

My out-take of the day. This was the first picture I downloaded off one of my cards yesterday. It made me laugh. It was appropriate as these little ones had to put up with some chilly weather. We were nervous the rain would come and I'm so happy it held out for us.

People often ask me what they should wear for their photography session. I love different coordinating colors and especially love blue jeans. These kids were dressed in clothes from Brinkley's Berries. I bought a few outfits for my own baby girl and can't wait for her to grow into them. You can customize your outfits and they photograph really well.

These kiddos are as cute as their clothes...

This was my little trooper. She was so sweet and cooperative even though she wasn't feeling well and had lost her voice.

I loved her shoes. I asked her if they made them in big girl sizes for me and she nodded her head yes. :-)

Free Target Bag

You can get a free Target bag if you are willing to work for it a little.

Brotherly Love (I think)

This little guy must love his big brother a lot to let him kiss him so hard.

You might note his hand is in the shape of a gun. I don't think that is a coincidence.

Girlie Soothie

Another Soothie. We pulled it out and she didn't mind a bit.

Doesn't she look like a little doll? So SWEET!

Family Time

Five year old boys love to make funny faces for my camera. They can be real hams. You think it is just a stage they go through, but look! 10 years later and they are still hams.

I guess these boys got it honest...

Senior Portrait? Nope, but she doesn't have too much longer to go.

This is a neat family - they are fun to be around. They make me think of my friend Bonnie and what her family will be like in 10 years from now. She actually has four 5 year-olds and just had a new baby earlier this year. I know she is really enjoying having just a single baby after having Quads. I know her children will grow up to be as sweet as these kids.

The Star of the Show

I am getting spoiled with big kids lately. They stand where they are supposed to and can follow directions. I don't even have to put anything on my head for a smile. Unfortunately, they don't think I am as funny as a three year old might.

With these six children there was only one under the age of five. Guess who the star of the family was (this day).

Atlanta Ribs

It is Thursday. That means free kids meals at Atlanta Ribs in Smyrna. They are next to the Highland Station Publix on the East West Connector. With this many kids, who doesn't need a free meal?

Atlanta Ribs catered our preschool Fall Picnic at Tolleson Park this month. It was great and they were so helpful with everything. They made it extremely easy for us and I would highly recommend them for any catered event you might have.

Halloween Recap

I hope your Halloween was a sweet one. I'm sure it was and if it wasn't...come to my house. There is plenty to go around.

Cool Hand Luke

This little guy reminds me of my boys. He liked to make funny faces for the camera. Luckily I caught him with some real smiling.
